PPF is a protective film designed to protect your paint
PPF (Paint Protection Film) is designed to help protect painted surfaces from stone chips, scratches, bug stains and minor everyday damage. It is recommended for new vehicles, cars frequently driven on highways, black body colors and luxury cars where long-term appearance matters.
Clear PPF
Protects the painted surface while preserving the original body color and gloss as much as possible. Recommended for keeping a new-car gloss longer.
Matte Clear PPF
Keeps the original body color while reducing gloss for a refined matte finish. Especially effective on black and dark-colored vehicles.
Satin Clear PPF
Creates a softer semi-gloss satin finish compared with matte clear film, combining protection with a subtle premium appearance.
Color PPF
A PPF option that combines color change with paint protection. Compared with PET color-change film, it gives a thicker, more premium feel.

Color PPF and PET color-change film serve different purposes
Even when the goal is a color change, the best film depends on what you prioritize. PET wrap film is suitable when appearance and color variety are the main focus. Color PPF is a better option when paint protection is also important.

Warranty and recommended replacement
EISUI PPF includes a 3-year installation warranty. To maintain appearance and protection performance, reapplication within 5 years is recommended.
EISUI PPF installation warranty: 3 years
Under normal use, if natural peeling, lifting, significant discoloration/fading or bubbles occur, we will repair or reinstall according to the warranty terms.
Not covered
Accidents, intentional or negligent damage, close-range high-pressure washing, natural disasters, external tearing/scuffing or stone-chip impact marks.
Warranty scope
This warranty is limited to repair or reinstallation of the installed film. Vehicle value loss, replacement vehicle costs and business interruption losses are not covered.
Removal notes
After the warranty period or on repainted vehicles, adhesive residue or paint peeling may occur during film removal and is not covered by warranty.
Washing and maintenance after PPF
After PPF installation, hand washing is recommended after the initial curing period. Avoid using a pressure washer close to film edges and avoid cleaners containing compounds. Please see our maintenance guide for details.
Frequently asked questions
Is PPF different from car wrapping?
Yes. PPF is mainly for paint protection, while car wrapping is mainly for color change or design customization.
What is the difference between Matte Clear PPF and Satin Clear PPF?
Matte Clear PPF gives a stronger matte look, while Satin Clear PPF gives a softer semi-gloss finish. Both change the finish while preserving the original body color.
Is Color PPF more expensive than PET color-change film?
In general, yes. Color PPF combines protection and color change, but it is more difficult and time-consuming to install than PET color-change film.
How long does installation take?
As a guide, full PPF starts from 2 days, front set PPF takes 1–2 days, and single-part installation can be same-day to 1 day depending on vehicle and coverage.
