The Japanese source page presents an older W463 G-Class wrapped with 3M 2080 M12 matte black. The G-Class has a timeless square body, and matte black naturally emphasizes its utilitarian character.
The W463 shape looks simple, but the wrap work is not simple. Door hinges, body edges, spare-tire area, moldings and flat panels all require careful planning to avoid visible seams and lifting points.
Matte black also shows installation quality clearly. Poor surface preparation or uneven stretching can create inconsistent sheen. A clean result depends on controlled heat, panel sequencing and realistic edge design.
The price note follows the Japanese page. Actual cost depends on vehicle condition, trim removal, paint condition and how deep the wrap is carried into edges and openings.
